The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

When is the last time we have seen a casting like this: Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and the unbelievable Eli Wallach. Directed by Sergio Leone in 1966, THE GOOD THE AND AND THE UGLY is a masterpiece. This is my favorite scene, the showdown. If somebody would try to do a scene like that today, all the studio executives would scream bloody murder. "6 minutes with no action? Are you crazy?" I guess Sergio Leone was crazy, thats why he's immortal!

Pfff...

I usually don't care when people are using our images for a small thing, I could even consider it as an homage but this pissed me off. They're using our stuff with no mention or permission of any kind and they even added their own fucking copyright...

EagleCam

I am very happy to have discovered the Biodiversity Research Institute's EAGLECAM! There is very limited scientific research on the nesting behaviors of Bald Eagles. To increase awareness and study these beautiful birds, a webcam was placed 70 feet high in a white pine tree on the coast of Maine near a Bald Eagles' nest. The bald eagle couple that has been using this nest have successfully raised roughly 20 offspring in the last 13 years at this very nest site. It's impossible to see anything of significance at night...but the images captured during the day can be beautiful. It's a very exciting time right now because the egg that has been incubating is expected to hatch sometime in the next week. You can check out the live video HERE. You can see reloaded video stills HERE. You can also read up on the latest information on their daily blog HERE.

Camera

In 2000, David Cronenberg directed CAMERA, a short movie to serve as one of the preludes for the 25th Anniversary of the Toronto Film Festival. It was very difficult to find until youtube.
