The Twins From Outer Space

The Luchadores Five have two friends coming from another planet... Their names are Igor and Grichka. To design them we used pictures of Igor and Grichka Bogdanoff. These guys were famous in France in the 70's. They had a pretty cool science-fiction show on TV. After a few years their show was canceled and they disappeared for a while. They came back on TV a few years ago and they were... Well... Let's say different. The first time I saw these pictures I though they were fake but I found more of them on their own website, so I guess that's what they look like now. I included a old picture of them so you can see the difference. Also, you can see Bill's interpretation of them. Don't be afraid, they're still human after all...

The Pom Pom Ninjas

Stacy K, Stacy D, Stacy C, Stacy G, and Kimberley are the Pom Pom Ninjas. As allies of the Luchadores 5, the Pom Pom Ninjas use their graceful combination of cheerleading formations and ninjutsu combative skills to stop the criminal forces that often attack the city. This is Stacy K. by Gobi.

Poquito Furioso

Another enemy of Tequila. Does this guy have any friend? Cheryl's ex-husband. Poquito has a HUGE chip on his shoulder regarding the significantly taller Tequila. Especially because when he lost his wife to him he also lost his cherished convertible land-shark. Art by Gobi.

The Mummies

Another band who could have come directly from the pages of LUCHA LIBRE, is THE MUMMIES. For more information, you can check their website or take a look at some of their fantastic shows available on youtube. It was probably the best band in the world. I mean... It was for sure the best band in the world.

The Bomboras

During the nineties, there were that crazy surf band called THE BOMBORAS. It was not only one of the best surf band in history, they were also a unbelievable live band. People who had the opportunity to see them are still crying of happiness. I think their best album is their last one, HEAD SHRINKIN' FUN, released on ZOMBIE A GO-GO, the former label of Rob Zombie with a beautiful cover by Shag. Their music and their look is a big source of inspiration.

Bread, Cheese and Red Wine
