Just for the fun. I love this picture.

Meet Bobby Jaws

Another creation of Gobi: Bobby Jaws. This shark-masked wrestler loves to terrorize anyone who attempts to set foot in his portable outdoor pool. The only problem is he is horrified of being in any water that is deeper than 5 feet deep.

Santo Comics - Inside Pages

Here are some inside pages of the Santo Comics. Action scenes, great cars, beautiful women, children with fake moustache, haircut from outer space and ugly bad guys... There are also some pretty amazing special effects like the flying device on Santo's back, it's actually painted on the photo. I'm a big fan!

The Luchadores Five

Here are two more pages of the LUCHADORES FIVE comic as illustrated by the always brilliant Bill. With two of the secondary characters: Stevo, the philosophic bum, and Big-G, the... hmmm... who do you think Big-G looks like?

Santo Comics

A while ago, a good friend of mine sent me these SANTO comics. They're not really comics, they're some kind of photo novels. Santo is fighting bad guys and saving women. I found a website with what I believe is the complete collection. Too bad the scans are pretty small. They also have, here, the BLUE DEMON comics. Less issues but the scans are larger.

Tikities in Vivid Color!

You saw the rough pencils...well, now it's time for the final art piece in all its fully colored glory by Fabien. Although Fabien went to animation school with Bill and Gobi, his rendering style is cleaner and more whimsical than the works of Bill or Gobi.

We intend to use one of Fabien's designs in the creation of our FOURTH Designer Toy Figure...

Bacteria

Another shot of the Tikities. I guess I was right to praise the crap! This is Bacteria, one of the main villains. I'm expecting more from Fabien very soon. Stay tuned.

The Tikities

The most mysterious series of Lucha Libre is for sure the Tikities. Fabien M, the artist is a very secretive person who usually doesn't want to show anything until he's completely satisfied. But we got the pleasure to get his proposal for the cover of issue #3 of Lucha Libre. Here it is.

Les Freres Jacques

If you've never heard about these guys, here's a picture of the "world famous" Freres Jacques, the main inspiration behind Les Formidables. It was a "vocal quartet" in France, they began their career in 1944 and made their final appearance in 1982! Crazy, uh? And you haven't heard them...

Les Formidables

One of the gangs featured in the LUCHADORES FIVE series is a bunch of wannabe frenchmen who called themselves Les Formidables. To create their look, we took our inspiration from french pop culture icons like Fantomas, Les Freres Jacques or Arsene Lupin. Here's some research by Bill and an image for the mag.

Here zey are... diz is ze formidables.

Don't Mess With Tequila

Here's a sneak peak at the first chapter of TEQUILA. This is page 11, my favorite Gobi's page... until I see the next one. The first chapter will be published in LUCHA LIBRE #2, in November. In the first panel, you can see a young El Panda, and some pretty cool rednecks in the last one.
